East Riddlesden Hall Wedding – Hannah & Joe
Some weddings are elegant, some are emotional, and then there are weddings like Hannah & Joe’s – a non-stop, joy-filled celebration from start to finish! Their wedding at East Riddlesden Hall was an absolute blast, filled with laughter, dancing, and incredible moments.
The day started in the picturesque town of Hebden Bridge, where Hannah got ready in her and Joe’s charming little house. The excitement in the air was palpable as her bridesmaids and family helped her with the final touches. When her father saw her in her wedding dress, his face lit up with pure happiness – a truly touching moment that set the tone for the day.
Meanwhile, over at East Riddlesden Hall, Joe was busy welcoming guests with open arms (literally – he got a lot of hugs!). His warmth and excitement were contagious, making everyone feel at home as they arrived at the beautiful venue. The ceremony was absolutely perfect, with Hannah and Joe beaming as they exchanged their vows. As they made their way back up the aisle, they were met with rapturous applause, and then came the confetti – LOTS of it! The couple was absolutely bombarded, making for some unforgettable photos. To top it all off, a very lively brass band (The New York Brass Band) followed them out of the barn, kicking off the celebrations in the most energetic way possible. I’ve seen this band on many weddings now and they are always absolutely brilliant, injecting energy and fun into every celebration.
With the band in full swing, the guests couldn’t resist dancing right from the start. The courtyard turned into an impromptu dance floor as everyone got involved, twirling, laughing, and soaking up the joyous atmosphere. For some time out and a bit of a rest from the activities I took the couple on a stroll around the venue grounds for some natural couple portraits. There are some lovely backdrops at East Riddlesden Hall with then historic house and the gardens which made for some stunning shots of the bride and groom together.
Next it was time for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were another highlight of the day. Each one was the perfect blend of hilarious and heartfelt, leaving guests both roaring with laughter and wiping away a few happy tears. Afterwards, came the first dance – and what a first dance it was! Hannah and Joe threw themselves into it with so much energy, spinning and swinging each other around the dance floor. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and before long, the dance floor was packed with guests joining in on the fun.
Hannah & Joe’s wedding was the kind that leaves you with aching cheeks from smiling so much and tired feet from dancing all night.
